This post is going to be a bit different because first it is bilingual and second, it's bi-friendly.

הפוסט הזה יהיה שונה קצת, ראשית כי הוא דו לשוני (עברית בסוף) ושנית כי הוא דו-חברי. רוחות של שינוי כבר אמרתי?

On day 39 I went to Eric's workplace (same Eric from day 37) to work on my new blog. At some point we got hungry, and as you know, in hi-tech, there's ALWAYS a Sashimi waiting to be found in one of the many cafeterias. You just have to find it, and we did.

We sat down, and soon people started joining us. It was getting late and I thought I really don't want to stress over it again, so I decides to tackle it head on and just started talking to anyone that joined us at the table.

The first guy thought I was a freak and ran as soon as he got his Sushi fix. The next girl was way more interested in Eric's tales about the last team meeting. Then Marcela came.

We started chatting as Eric suddenly announced "Hey! She should be your new friend!" when, obviously, that was my plan all along so I gave him my best "Daaad! You're embarrassing me! Go away!" look. I'm not sure if he's the best or the worst wingman ever, but he's trying so hard and I can only adore him for that.

On day 40 I didn't make a new friend per se, but as I find myself explain more often then I'd like to, I opened a door.

Nobody actually thinks you can make a friend in a day, or in an hour or in a five minute talk to a person you just met on the street, walking their lovely new adopted dog named Luna, right?

No, but you can make a connection and set the ground. You can open a door… Even if it's just for a puppy play date. That's a good start, and that's also how I met Nili.

ועכשיו בעברית!

ביום 39 הכרתי את מרסלה. ביום 40 את נילי.

אנגלית זה פשוט.

נשיקות!
